Life Extending Extras

Rugged tapered roller bearings at all locations provide load-carrying capacity superior to ball bearings. An automotive-type dipstick makes oil checks easy. Grease-purgeable seal cavities at all seal locations protect the seals from grit and abrasives that deteriorate sealing. Optional Viton^® seals are available for severe duty applications.

Inch or Metric Dimensions

UltraMax is designed for worldwide use. Shaft extensions and keyways are available in inch or metric dimensions. Economical, pre-engineered accessories such as motor brackets, motor mounts and flanged motor adapters are readily available to suit both NEMA and IEC frame motors.

Single Source For Gear Drive Packages

Associated couplings and OSHA-approved coupling guards, as well as electric motors, can be included in complete Rexnord supplied drive packages.

Full Accessory Package

Economical integral backstops, slide bases and motor plates are available. Efficient shaft driven cooling fans, electric fans or cooling tubes can be specified as needed.

GMAX 6000™

Horsepower, Heat, Moisture, and abrasive contamination are constantly working to break down your gear drive lubricant. GMax 6000 is designed to provide superior wear protection in the most demanding gear drive applications. GMax 6000 is a Polyalkylene Glycol based lubricant or PAG. PAG synthetics have exemplary lubricating properties over traditional Polyalphaolefin or PAO Synthetics and mineral oils. The viscosity index of PAG lubricants is double that of PAO lubricants. This means that a PAG will perform much better over the range of operating temperatures experienced by an industrial gear drive.
